New Item Defaults

New Items Defaults allows to set the value for fields in newly created objects (only some are supported, but if you need a new one, just ask) and to allow/forbid editing or show/hide fields from unprivileged users.

Once you have setup some values, you can also enforce it to already created objects, but beware, Asterisk is caching extension data, so it can require pruning the extension, so it will be reread from the database.

The big question is "what values to store in the field?" ... there is no hints on any field and a simple text field is used. You need to use the exact same value that will be used in the object page. You can discover it by checking the HTML data or check the following table for some special values:
