MiRTA PBX SIP Phone is an Android softphone app used to connect to a SIP/PBX account configured by the user or by the user's organization. The app is designed to provide calling functionality and does not sell personal information or use personal information for advertising.

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at info@mirtapbx.com.

Information handled by the app

Depending on how the app is configured and used, MiRTA PBX SIP Phone may handle SIP account settings such as username, server address, display name, and authentication details. These settings are used to register the app with the selected SIP service and place or receive calls.

The app may also handle call-related technical information needed for normal phone operation, such as call status, call history stored on the device, SIP registration state, and network connection details.

Device permissions

The app may request access to the microphone for voice calls, phone or audio routing features for call handling, notifications for incoming call alerts, contacts if the user chooses to call or identify contacts from the device, and network access to communicate with the configured SIP/PBX service.

Permissions are used only to provide app functionality. Users can manage Android app permissions in the device settings.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. The app communicates with the SIP/PBX server configured in the app so calls can be placed and received. If the configured SIP/PBX service is operated by a third party or by the user's organization, that service may process call signaling, call metadata, or media according to its own policies.

Analytics and advertising

MiRTA PBX SIP Phone does not use personal information for advertising. The app is not intended to display third-party ads.

Storage, retention, and deletion

SIP account settings and local call information may be stored on the user's device for app functionality. Users can delete app data through Android settings or remove the app from the device. If support assistance is requested by email, we retain the information provided in that support request only as needed to respond and maintain business records.

Children

The app is intended for business and telephony use and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
